Featuring a progressive jackpot that has reached over $4 million US dollars, Cryptologic's Millionaires Club holds the record for the highest online progressive slot jackpot ever. Available in two different versions, both linked to the same giant progressive jackpot, players can choose between the original 3 reel one pay line machine, or the newer 5 reel, 9 pay line game.
The 3 reel version is a traditional fixed coin $1 per credit slot, with a $3 maximum bet. To qualify for the bonus, and a shot at the progressive jackpot, maximum coins must be played The Club symbol appearing on the third reel triggers the Cash Wheel feature. The Cash Wheel is located on top of the slot and consists of three outer circles, and an inner circle containing the progressive jackpot. When the wheel spins it either lands on one of the cash amounts on the reel, or the arrow button which gives access to the next level, and higher winnings. Hit all three arrows and gain access into the inner wheel, winning the huge progressive jackpot.
The alternate version is a five reel 9 pay line machine, with an adjustable credit size and a boom or bust style bonus feature. Three scattered millionaires’ club symbols on the reels trigger the cash wheel bonus feature and the chance to win the progressive jackpot. The aim of the game is similar to that of the 3 reel slot – to proceed from the outer circle of the wheel of cash into the inner circle containing the jackpot. An adjustable power button lets you decide how hard to spin the reels. However unlike in the single pay line version, you get multiple chances to spin the wheel – and also the possibility to lose everything if you hit the B symbol. After each spin, more B's are placed on the wheel and you can either spin again and risk everything, or collect you accumulated winnings. On the third circle you can only spin the reel once. If you are unlucky enough to bust you will still receive a small compensation prize.
The reel symbols reflect the opulent lifestyle the slots lucky winners could expect to enjoy – sports cars, diamonds, designer jewellery and of course champagne. The platinum card symbol is wild and substitutes for all other symbols except the scattered Millionaires Club icon.
The progressive jackpot has a minimum value of $175,000 and on average increases by $35,000 every day it is not won. The slot has already paid out some very impressive wins, a London, England man won a very festive $1.77 million in December 2005, and in July of the same year, the very first millionaire was inducted into the Millionaires Club hall of fame with a $1.06 million win.
So whether you prefer the traditional 3 reel slot, or the additional features of the 5 reel version, there is always a big jackpot waiting to be won at The Millionaires Club.
